Driver indicted in serious crash involving heroin, school bus in Clayton

CLAYTON — A woman suspected of using heroin before a crash involving a school bus that split another car in two was indicted today.

Kelly Hooks, 38, of Celina, was the driver of a silver 2000 Pontiac Grand Am that ran a stop sign Nov. 11, 2014, on Diamond Mill Road at the National Road intersection, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol traffic crash report.

Hooks was headed north on Diamond Mill Road when she struck a silver 1999 Honda Civic headed west on National Road. Its driver, Christopher Biddle, now 30, of West Alexandria, suffered incapacitating injuries, the OSP said.
