Canton mom’s 911 call: ‘I cut my children’s throats’

A Canton, Ohio, mother is facing charges after police say she called 911 to report she had attacked her children and then tried to harm herself Tuesday.

In a 911 call to Canton police, Nicole R. Auman, 31, is heard saying “I cut my children’s throats, and then cut my wrists, please help my children.”

When police arrived at Auman’s home, they found her two daughter, ages 7 and 10, with non life-threatening injuries, and Auman herself with cuts to her wrist, according to reports.

All three were transported to local hospitals, police said.

Auman was booked into Stark County Jail where she is facing charges of attempted murder and attempted aggravated murder.
