1 arrested after masked gunman robbed Dayton store

DAYTON — A man is being held in the Montgomery County Jail after police said he robbed the Kwik n Kold drive through Friday night.

Elisha D. Curtis Jr., 23, is being held on suspicion of aggravated robbery after his arrest on Saturday, according to jail records.

The Kwik n Kold, at 1106 Shroyer Road, was robbed by a man who wore a mask and displayed a revolver to the clerk, according to the Dayton police report.

Police said the robber approached the drive-through on foot from the east and left in the same direction with approximately $420 from the cash register.

Details of Curtis’ arrest were not immediately available. He is due to appear for an arraignment Monday in Dayton Municipal Court.
