Arrest made in attempted carjacking at gas station in Warren County

UPDATE @ 9:03 p.m. (Aug. 29): A man suspected in an attempted carjacking in the parking lot of the Maineville Quick Stop last month has been arrested.

According to the Maineville Police Department, in a statement released tonight, Charles Glorioso was arrested Monday following an indictment stemming from the incident returned Aug. 19 by a Warren County grand jury.

No details about the arrest were released with tonight’s statement.

Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted carjacking at the Maineville Quick Stop this week and they are hoping you might recognize him.

Tuesday afternoon, the police department released two photos that show the suspect running from the gas station, in the 8100 block of state Route 48, after approaching the victim at the gas pumps, pointing pepper spray at the person and announcing he was a carjacker.

The incident occurred about 5:49 p.m. Monday, police said.

The suspect, who was last seen running north on state Route 48, is white, wears a crew cut and has several tattoos on both arms as well as a tear drop on his right cheek.
