Truck fled the scene of crash involving motorcycle; SR 4 back open

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 5 p.m.:

A motorcycle driver was taken to Miami Valley Hospital after crashing with a truck on I-75 south near state Route 4.

The driver of the truck involved in the crash reportedly fled the scene, according to regional dispatchers.

State Route 4 was shut down near the crash for more than an hour but the road has reopened.

INITIAL REPORT:

A motorcycle and truck crash shut down the ramp from southbound I-75 to state Route 4.

One medic was called to the scene around 3 p.m. on reports of an injury. The motorcyclist was conscious and breathing when the medic arrived.

The ramp remains closed; motorists should take an alternate route.
