KETTERING — All 279 U.S. Stein Mart stores across 30 states, including the Town and Country location in Kettering, are closing through “Going-Out-of-Business” sales, according to national media reports.

Officials with the national retailer this week announced that Stein Mart has filed for Chapter 11 protection because of the “financial distress” caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
