Headed into the 2013 season, the Syracuse Orange had about eight games that could seemingly go either way. They unfortunately lost one of them to start the season. The 23-17 loss to the Penn St. Nittany Lions means one less chance to get one of six victories needed to ensure bowl eligibility, and therefore Belkiness.
One of the presumed losses comes up this weekend, the Northwestern Wildcats. However, we've all been watching college football long enough to know you don't presume too much at any given time. Maybe Drew Allen needed to have a stinker in order to sort himself out and have a 500 yard, 7 TD day. One can dream...
