"We're not all like Marcus Lattimore, who never said anything bad about anybody... The problem is if you've got a loudmouthed guy who doesn't play worth a crap. Then you've got a problem."
On Clowney's contact with Jay Z:
"[Jadeveon] can have a conversation even with you, [Phil Kornblut]. Did you know that? He can talk to anybody he wants to as long as he doesn't take anything. I think he knows that. That's been preached to him since he signed with us on February 14th."

The Gamecocks announce their fall practice schedule. I'm looking at that August 17th scrimmage that coincides with my annual sojourn to the Atlantic coast and thinking that might be a pretty good opportunity to get a look at the 2013 Gamecocks. Anyone else planning on attending some fall practices?
The Rubber Chickens recap the 1997 season. Yeah, it was a pretty rough year, but Buck is just such a good storyteller that it's worth checking out. OH YEAH - REMEMBER VIC PENN?
Darryl Slater is leaving the Charleston Post & Courier. Let's take this opportunity to reflect upon Slater's unique style of asking questions.
