The Syracuse Orange football team is currently lifting and pulling heavy things at Ft. Drum. Let's find out more about those heavy things.
First, here's plenty of photos of heavy things getting lifted and pulled.
Some personnel updates...
Did Scott Shafer use "busting their rump" while at Fort Drum? Yes. Yes he did.
"All these Pop Warner, Fort Drum kids, running around, playing football — greatest game ever created — on a military base and busting their rumps as a bunch of little guys," Shafer said. "And it’s got to be as exciting for them as it is for us to have two practices going simultaneously."
"Everybody on the team says I could be his son," Welsh says with a grin. "We look so much alike everybody says."
Tim Lester said that the ability to stretch the field vertically is going to be an important factor in the QB race. Advantage Drew Allen? Or Terrel Hunt?
