SU's Prince-Tyson Gulley and Jerome Smith tied for 15 on the ACC Digital Network's Top 25 Players to Watch list, a new preseason football feature. The running back duo kicks off the second week of the ACCDN's features on players from around the league.

Brian Morris, a representative from the Canadian Tire Centre, said approximately 3,500 tickets have been sold for the Syracuse-Carleton game. Morris said the arena's officials are expecting a crowd of more than 5,000 for the game.
