Rice is coming off of a hip flexor injury that sidelined him during the Ravens 30-9 victory over the Texans on Sunday, and the running game visibly struggled with Bernard Pierce averaging just 2.7 yards per carry. But according to Breer, the Ravens are likely to get a boost in the backfield this week, since the biggest factor in Rice's availability for Week Four is his capability of being able to play through pain. There is no concern among Ravens brass that Rice's injury is serious.
Fantasy Spin: Getting even a limited practice in twice a week usually bodes well for a player's availability the ensuing Sunday, and Rice appears on track to make his return. That should be music to his fantasy owners' ears, since he will face a Bills defense that got gashed by Jets running back Bilal Powell, who carried the ball 27 times for 158 yards last week. Even if Rice were to be eased into action in a 60-40 split with Pierce, he is still worthy of his RB1 designation on Sunday.
