Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson (arm) will not play against the Browns in Week 6. The veteran receiver continues to work his way back from a broken left forearm suffered in a car crash earlier in the year. He is believed to be targeting Week 10 as his return date.
Fantasy Implications: With Burleson out and star receiver Calvin Johnson likely heading toward a game-time decision, Ryan Broyles figures to see an expanded role against the Browns. If Megatron does not suit up, Broyles will likely be shadowed by shutdown cornerback Joe Haden, making him an extremely unattractive WR5 play. Working his way back from his second ACL surgery, Broyles was held without a catch during Week 4 and has totaled five receptions for 61 yards and zero touchdowns in his last three contests.
In Johnson's absence, versatile running back Reggie Bush and tight end Brandon Pettigrew figure to see the majority of targets from quarterback Matthew Stafford. The lack of receiving weapons leaves Bush a strong RB1 play. With only 16 catches for 151 yards and zero touchdowns on the year, Pettigrew remains a TE2 with limited upside.
