Chad Henne replaced the injured Blaine Gabbert at quarterback for the Jaguars, but the result was the same. The offense was pitiful, mustering only 275 yards, most of which came in garbage time. Henne did lead a touchdown drive late in the game, which was the first Jaguars touchdown of the entire season.
The Raiders won the game with their ability to run the football. Darren McFadden rushed for 129 yards and Terrelle Pryor rushed for 50, and that was all that seemed to be working for Oakland offense. Defensively, the Raiders managed to sack Henne four times, helping stall the Jaguars offense even more.
The win was the Raiders first of the season, while the Jaguars are still winless.
Darren McFadden was the only worthwhile fantasy player in Sunday's game. He rushed for 129 yards but also lost a fumble.
Maurice Jones-Drew was injured in the game and turned in a second straight disappointing fantasy performance for his owners. Cecil Shorts III was the victim of poor quarterback play, which held him to five catches for 59 yards.
Maurice Jones-Drew sprained his ankle in the second quarter and did not receive another carry for the rest of the game.
The Raiders were favored by 3.5 points in the game and covered the spread.
