Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen (foot) was listed as a full participant in practice on Friday and is probable against the Vikings in Week 6. Olsen injured his foot in his Week 5 matchup against Arizona. He practiced in full on Thursday as well.
Fantasy Impact: Barring a setback, Olsen will suit up on Sunday. With wide receiver Steve Smith as the only other reliable option for quarterback Cam Newton, Olsen is locked in as a TE1 against Minnesota's suspect front seven. Olsen has not recorded less than four catches in a game this season and is averaging 68 yards per contest. Always a steady producer, fantasy owners can expect more of the same from former first-round pick in this week's favorable match up.
In his third season with the Carolina Panthers, Olsen is on pace for 84 receptions, 1,092 yards and 4 touchdowns. While fantasy owners would love to see him find the endzone a few more times, his reliability and healthy number of targets makes him a strong candidate to be a top-five tight end play in any given week.
