Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis (ankle) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 4 game against the Oakland Raiders. Davis was limited in practice all week long and has not seen many opportunities in the time he has been on the field.
Fantasy Impact: Davis is far from his days as a go-to tight end. Through three weeks this season, Davis has managed a grand total of just three catches on six targets for 25 yards.
Jordan Reed has taken over as the starting tight end and neither player has really done much to make impression on fantasy owners this season. Quarterback Robert Griffin has been slow in returning to form following a torn ACL injury suffered during last year's playoff run so a Washington Redskins tight end is not worth owning -- even in deep leagues at this point.
If you are so strapped at the tight end position that you find yourself with Davis or Reed on your roster, know that Reed (thigh) is expected to be sidelined for the contest. Reed generally has the upper hand in the Redskins tight end rotation, though, so don't hold your breath on Davis unless you're absolutely desperate.
