The Cincinnati Bengals announced that they've released six players on Sunday.
The team terminated the contract of Richard Quinn, making him an immediate free agent as a fifth-year player. Defensive tackle Vaughan Meatoga was waived, as were four undrafted free agents that the team signed following the 2013 NFL draft. They are wide receiver Jheranie Boyd, cornerback Terrence Brown, linebacker Jordan Campbell, and place kicker Quinn Sharp.
Teams must reduce their roster to a league mandated roster limit of 75 players this Tuesday at 4 p.m. (ET). Those six give Cincinnati a roster of 81 players, needing six more reductions before the deadline. Quinn, signed as a free agent during the regular season opener last year, was a game-day inactive all year. Of those being released, he's the only player on the team last season -- though Meatoga spent some time in Cincinnati last summer.
