It's been a busy Wednesday outside of the Bengals' own little corner of the NFL universe. Aside from Von Miller's continuing troubles, the New England Patriots have their own reasons to be nervous. At Wednesday's practice, Tom Brady collapsed in a heap after a play. He subsequently grabbed his knee and went into the locker room.
A video taken by a fan in attendance at the practice has since gone viral. Here is the footage of Brady sustaining the injury.
There isn't word yet on the extent of Brady's injury but he did walk under his own power to the locker room after the injury. Brady grabbed his left knee in this video and if that is what he injured, it would be the same knee that he blew out back in 2008 against the Chiefs.
Though there isn't official word on the extent of the injury, it's another cloud hanging over the franchise that is still reeling from the Aaron Hernandez murder case, the nagging injury issues to Rob Gronkowski and the departure of Wes Welker. And, in case you're wondering, the Bengals play host to the Patriots on October 6th at Paul Brown Stadium.
