The San Francisco 49ers wrap up their 2013 preseason schedule Thursday evening as they travel to face the San Diego Chargers. This is an annual affair, and lucky for us on the East Coast it's a lovely 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET start. Gotta love it!
The starters are not expected to get much playing time, so this is going to be all about checking out the reserves. I'd imagine Quinton Patton and Jon Baldwin will get plenty of work. It will be interesting to see if Nnamdi Asomugha or Tramaine Brock get much time. It makes sense to get Marcus Cooper and Darryl Morris one last run before roster cuts. There is a chance one of them could make the roster, but even if not that, there is always the practice squad to compete over.
Game Time: 7:00 p.m. PT
Location: Qualcomm Stadium San Diego, CA
TV: CBS - 5, NFL Network simulcast (starting at 7:30 p.m. PT)
Announcers: Dennis O'Donnell, Tim Ryan, Vern Glenn
NFL Network is picking up covering of the game, but not until 7:30 p.m. after an earlier game ends. Kind of odd
Live Online Stream: If you don't get NFL Network, you can check out NFL.com's Preseason Live. I don't know that it's worth the price at this point, but that's an option
NFL Network Replay: September 1 12:00 a.m. PT (so the start of eaaaaaarly Sunday morning)
49ers Radio Network: KGO 810 & The Bone 107.7 FM - Ted Robinson, Eric Davis
Spanish Radio: KBRG 680 - Erwin Higueros, Juan Carlos Sierra
Online: I believe you can listen to the stations through TuneIn.com
