Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson was shut down by the Denver Broncos, being held to just two catches for 34 yards in a 52-20 loss. The Broncos defense blanketed him for most of the day, and he couldn't get separation as the Eagles running attack was slowed down.
Jackson had a scary moment in the first half when he went down with an apparent leg injury, but he came back in after missing just a few plays and finished the game.
Fantasy impact: Better fantasy days are ahead for Jackson. The Eagles defense is such a disaster that Chip Kelly's offense will have no choice but to play catchup. Jackson has just 96 receiving yards in the past two weeks after a blazing start to the season. Through four games, he has 21 catches for 393 yards and a two touchdown. Jackson is a good bet to bounce back against a Giants team in complete freefall.
