Richardson only played two snaps in the team's 31-7 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys a week ago due to a foot injury, but returned to practice and warranted positive reports from his onlookers. Richardson may split backfield duties this week with Isaiah Pead, who was mostly used as a receiving weapon a week ago in Richardson's absence. Pead totaled 63 yards on 13 touches, seven of which came on receptions.
Fantasy Spin: This is not a great matchup for Richardson, who appears recovered despite the short week. With a stout 49ers front seven lining up across from him, as well as the looming chance that he will not receive a full workload this week, Richardson is better suited as a desperation flex play. His matchup in Week Five versus the Jaguars is much more favorable, especially since he will have extra days for rest and preparation.
