Morning, everyone. Did you sleep? Me neither. Watched Midnight Yell on ESPN3 (nice coverage, by the way), read half a book, and pretty much did all my assigned chores. And now there's still more waiting.
In the meantime, I dare you to read this and not love Lee Corso as much as I do. He is college football embodied.
Pay attention. Some of the guys will be there with the official GBH banners, so we'll welcome any screencaps you wish to post in the comments. We did this last year for the Florida game when the blog was only a few days old, so the lessons learned then will ensure a greater chance at visibility.
Last year's game has literally been playing on a loop since last night. It's fun listening to the hand-wringing of Gary Danielson and his fluctuation between admiration for Manziel and then real fear that Alabama might lose. And I began to recognize individual plays broken down in Chris Brown's excellent longform.
So grab some waffles and whatever else you start your gamedays off with, put ESPN on mute if you wish, and enjoy this entire Saturday devoted to Aggie Football. And keep your eyes peeled for any GBH signs in the crowd. We'll have your regular game thread up before kickoff.
