Marcus Mariota QB Oregon 8/5
Despite putting on a seven-touchdown exhibition against Colorado last week, Mariota’s odds stayed flat. Still, he is looking like the clear cut leader right now as the halfway point of the season looms.
Brett Hundley QB UCLA 25/1
Hundley’s odds fell even though he put up a hat trick against Utah (throwing, running and catching a touchdown). Hundley’s touchdown catch will assuredly be replayed ad naseum should his Heisman campaign take off towards the end of the season.
De’Anthony Thomas RB Oregon 33/1
Thoma’s odds dropped again after missing last week’s game against Colorado with an ankle sprain and now he is questionable for Saturday’s game against Washington. Thomas’ stock will fall again if he can’t go against the Huskies, but could skyrocket if he plays and has a big performance in the Ducks’ first marquee game of 2013.
Kevin Hogan QB Stanford 50/1
Hogan’s prospects are hanging by a thread and even that threat might be generous. Outside of one amazing touchdown throw, Hogan did very little against Washington and a more productive Pac-12 player like Washington’s Bishop Sankey or Oregon State’s Sean Mannion or Brandin Cooks are probably more deserving right now.
