This coming weekend is a huge recruiting weekend at Ohio State and with the #4 Buckeyes hosting Wisconsin in the first night game of the year, the atmosphere and energy around campus should be electric. Out of the big time visitors scheduled to be in Columbus this weekend, one of them is the top offensive skill position prospect left on Ohio State's recruiting board–Florida native Johnnie Dixon. Dixon has not been up to Columbus since June and this will be his first game in the Horseshoe. His 'wow' factor should be at an all time high come Saturday night.

Fellow Floridan safety Shawn Boone is still on the fence about accompanying Dixon on the visit to Columbus. It was originally reported that the trip was off, but after a few hours it seemed like a real possibility again. Shocking, right?
In other huge in-state news, you can add Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith to the list of visitors this weekend. The last couple of months the Glenville duo have taken visits all over the country and why shouldn't they? Lattimore is the top prospect in Ohio while Smith has worked his way up the list from his phenomenal play the last several weeks. Though Ohio State is battling Alabama and Michigan, the Buckeyes have to love their chances keeping these two locals home. A commitment is not expected to come for quite some time so be patient, it should and will be alright.

In what was one of the biggest developments yesterday, it has been noted that Drew Richmond will be making his way to Ohio State on Saturday we well. Richmond is a 6'5", 300 pound offensive tackle who was also in Columbus in early June. Thus far it's been an Ohio State-Tennessee battle for the four-star prospect, but there's a legitimate shot that this weekend could put the Buckeyes over the top. Keep an eye on this one moving forward.
Ohio brothers Andrew Dowell and David Dowell will be visiting Ohio State this weekend. 2015 prospects, Andrew, running back, checks in a 6'0" 195 pounds. He camped at Ohio State in July and currently holds three offers. Andrew is a heck of a player and should garner more and more interest throughout the fall. David comes in an inch taller and at a different positions. At wide receiver and corner back, David also camped at OSU and already holds offers from Tennessee and Illinois.
Moving away from visit news, Ohio State offered 2015 running back Bryce Love. At 5'9" Love has electrifying 4.30 speed and would be a perfect fit in a system like coach Meyer's. With offers already from Virginia Tech, Stanford, Clemson, and South Carolina, the sweepstakes for Love seem to be heating up.
Below are Bryce Love's sophomore highlights:
Our Charles Doss caught up with Love and had him break down how it feels to be offered by the Buckeyes:
"I received the offer tonight via telephone from Coach Withers. The offer means a lot and I'm excited. OSU has always been one of my favorite schools and to have an offer from them is a blessing. I look forward to learning more about the school and program. And of course, Coach Meyer. He is the man!"
Football isn't the only sport getting a plethora of visits this weekend, the basketball program is taking advantage of the big game on Saturday night as well. 2014 seven-footerElbert Robinson is expected to touch wheels in Columbus. With LSU seemingly the favorite at this point, it'll take one of Matta's best efforts to lure the Texan into the Buckeye state of mind. At Ohio State, though, no one is out of reach and all it takes is one good visit to put a program at the top of the list. Coach Thad Matta and the Buckeye community should make a huge impact over the weekend.
Staying in the class of 2014, power forward Ray Kasongo has heard from the Buckeye coaching staff recently. Holding a slew of offers, Kasongo has not proclaimed anyone a leader at this point but some signs point to Connecticut after last weekends visit. The 6'9" athlete has a visit planned to Oregon in the coming days.

Basketball commit AJ Harris competed in the 2013 Buckeye prep showcase and he didn't disappoint. The speedy four-star prospect showed great ability in his offensive game. Our Zach Fleer was all over the event.
Switching gears back to football, 2014 commit Demetrius Knox was presented with his Army All-American jersey on Tuesday afternoon. Remember, Knox is the latest offensive line commit in the current class and is ranked as the number five offensive guard in 247Sports' composite rankings.
