Brent Pease preaching consistency to Tyler Murphy: And that consistency is be yourself. I also can't think of a better place to get your first start in if it has to be on the road in the SEC either. (Robbie Andreu, The Gainesville Sun)
Competition at punter looming: Will Muschamp has said that if needed they'll pull the redshirt off of backup Johnny Townsend. Things could get interesting as we figure out what's wrong with Ray Guy finalist Kyle Christy. (Jesse Simonton, The Miami Herald)
Lorenzo Carter has Gators an A+: Carter was one of the four official visitors the Gators had in town for Tennessee and Carter was impressed. The five-star defensive end will also return to Gainesville for either the Florida State or football banquet weekend and visit Alabama and Georgia at a later date. (Zach Abolverdi, Gator Prospectus/ GatorSports)
Joker Phillips returns to Kentucky: Phillips along with offensive coordinator Brent Pease will be making a return to their old stomping grounds. I keep forgetting that Pease was the Wildcats' offensive coordinator when Derek Abney and the Wildcats nearly beat the Gators back in 2002. That game is in my top frustrating games, if I were to ever make a list. They just would not go away. (Adam Pincus, The Florida Times-Union)
Dominique Easley not a fan of The South: Don't worry folks, he was joking. But then again, not really sure if Florida counts as part of The South anymore. I mean, it's the only state where you have to go north to go south, right? But he does travel extensively around it, so he's probably got a good opinion on the matter as a result. (Edgar Thompson, Orlando Sentinel)
2013 America's Cup: It's down to the final race today after an incredible comeback by Oracle USA. I mean this is in the "You've got to be kidding me!" pantheon now.
FIFA 14: Just as, if not more amazing.
