I have to say, I'm not overly impressed by the quality of linkage today. Yesterday was a great links day. Today was more of a struggle. Onward:
USC's home football game against Boston College on Sept. 14 will kick off at noon PT. It will be shown live on the Pac-12 Network
That's 12 PM Hawai'ian time, or whatever it is out there, and 3 PM for those of us in America.
Dunbar adds to a long list of players to violate the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs this offseason.
After yesterday's excellent ACC Atlantic preview, Football Study Hall returns to preview the ACC Coastal.
It's not the return of Al Golden, but Temple is hoping bringing back Matt Rhule is the next best thing - if not even better.
The former Temple assistant under Golden was hired as Temple's latest head coach in December, following Steve Addazio's departure for Boston College. Rhule, who spent five seasons under Golden and one under Addazio, is the Owls' third head coach in the last five years.
With all the excitement surrounding this upcoming season, it's easy to forget one of the initial concerns about Addazio wast hat Temple backslid to 4-7 last year, and it'll be..... something I stop thinking about right now, because I want to keep being really excited.
• Lowest per-game attendance among BCS-conference schools: 1. USC (4,243), 2. Boston College (4,244), 3. Stanford (4,530)
Womp womp. Pretty good company, though, so there's that.
Since being added to Virginia’s football coaching staff, plenty of people have wondered what exactly Tom O’Brien’s role will be this season. O’Brien, a former Boston College and N.C. State head coach, is listed as the Cavaliers’ associate head coach for offense and the team’s tight ends coach.
