Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in the Ravens' 14-6 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 2. Ray Rice received 13 carries and churned out just 36 yards before leaving the game with a hip flexor strain in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy impact: Neither Pierce nor Rice played particularly well in the game in terms of fantasy production against the Browns. Although Ravens coach John Harbaugh is optimistic about Rice's injury situation, the official impact of the hip strain won't be known until Rice undergoes an MRI. Pierce has been regarded as somewhat of a handcuff to Rice going back to last season, so fantasy owners should keep their eyes peeled for updated injury reports as we get closer to Week 3.
