Is there anything Pink can't do? The 34-year-old singer-turned-aerial performer busted out her gravity-defying skills at the 2014 Grammy Awards on January 26 and still managed to give a flawless vocal. No backing track here, people!
Clad in a So You Think You Can Dance-esque leotard, Pink showed off her toned legs while performing a lyrical dance in mid air (pointed toes and all!) and singing her 2012 hit song "Try." And just when you thought she'd outdone herself, she turned upside down and touched the hands of stunned audience members — all while dangling from her feet!
The performance continued on land, where Pink transitioned into the choreography from her "Try" music video. But the new mom was far from done. Next she was joined by fun.'s lead singer Nate Ruess for a live performance of their chart-topping duet, "Just Me a Reason."
Pink, who gave birth to daughter Willow in 2011, has been studying aerial with longtime trainer, Dreya Weber, for over a decade.
“I had her do sit-ups where I stood on her stomach and, like, bounced up and down and had her sing. And then I had her hang from her knees from a trapeze bar and swing back and forth as I poked her stomach,” Weber told the New York Post. “Each time, I was, like, ‘OK, sing. Can you sing the high note? Can you hold the note?’ It was really fun to discover that everything’s possible.”
Like we said, is there anything Pink can't do?!
