Meat dresses, bubble machines, see-through bodysuits — at this point, we’re pretty sure we’ve seen everything there is to see from Lady Gaga.
Or have we?
On Saturday, September 7, the “Applause” singer stepped out in NYC wearing one of her oddest looks to date. The 27-year-old songstress rocked a latex top and pants, 9-inch platform boots, and a face mask by Maison Martin Margiela.
While we’re certainly not surprised by Gaga’s over-the-top ensemble, we can’t help but feel a bit terrified after seeing it. After all, full-coverage face masks are the things that horror movies are made of. (Michael Myers in Halloween, Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jason in Friday the 13th... you catch our drift.)
On top of feeling like we might need to leave the lights on tonight, we also have to wonder: Can Lady Gaga even see out of that thing? Paired with her towering stiletto heels, this seems like a mighty dangerous situation — even if she does tend to defy gravity in her shoes.
Either way, she’s certainly got us talking, which we’re guessing is the point.
How do you feel about Gaga’s latex-face mask ensemble? Totally fashion-forward or epically frightening? Sound off below!
