We don't want to worry about more than we can handle, but the promo for Season 18 Episode 6 has us a little worried. Last week, Clare Crawley and Juan Pablo Galavis had a truly strange encounter in Vietnam. It was all fun, flirty times, with "sneaky besitos" galore, until JPG decided that what they had done (which, admittedly, we still don't fully understand) was wrong. There were confusing, contradictory things said, Clare cried, Juan Pabs cried... It was a mess. But the whole time, we were just wondering if she would pack her thorns and go.
However, she stuck around, and now with only eight girls remaining, El Bachelor is taking his gals to New Zealand to nerd out in the verdant lands. He takes Clare on a solo date, and while we're not sure things clear up, he has another problem at hand. Namely, Sharleen Joynt, who is shown talking to the cameras about how Juan Pabs just doesn't get her. Later, in the clip, she says "I think it's best if I leave." Cue jaws dropping like whoa. But still, spoiler alert, she sticks around.
But according to Reality Steve, that doesn't last long. Sharleen nearly quit on the Season 18 Premiere, and has been feeling awkward (and showing it) ever since. Sure, she says she’s a slow warmer and that their connection felt “forced,” but we’re surprised more by how long she sticks around, than the fact that she takes a hike on her own. According to show spoiler Steve, Sharleen departs JPG’s TLC in Miami, in Week 7. Pictures surfaced of their date before we even knew her name, and even on their lovely 1-on-1 on a yacht, she looks like she's considering jumping off. While previews for the episodes in between make it look like things keep getting better for the "elegant" lady, it's Miami where she tells Juan Pablo, after their date, that she’s gotta bounce back to the opera house. And she does.
But as (not at all) shocked as we were by Sharleen's exit, there's another that really does make us wonder what happens between now and the Season 18 finale.
Who's that? Andi Dorfman, who we feel like could’ve gone all the way. Instead, Andi decides that Juan Pablo isn’t right for her. What made the 26-year-old lawyer say adios? We don’t know yet, but it happens after the Overnight Dates in St. Lucia. She comes to his window, or something, and then says she’s gotta bounce back to the ATL to put more thugs in jail. It's always something. Considering all the chemistry we’ve seen between these two in the Season 18 long promo, and the moment we witnessed in the snack bar in Season 18 Episode 3, we have to say we’re shocked.
But who knows, something tells us that Andi might be back in roseland sooner than later. As the next Bachelorette, perhaps? We'd watch that.
Are you surprised so many of the girls on this season leave on their own? Tell us below!
