The Dayton Flyers know a reliable bus driver in western New York. Marty Flickner has been a lucky charm since the 2014 NCAA tournament in Buffalo.

The Saint Louis Billikens could have used Flickner on Wednesday night. In one of the strangest college basketball stories of the year, their bus was allegedly stolen by the driver during their game at St. Bonaventure in Olean, N.Y. The Billikens walked out of the Reilly Center after losing 70-55 to the Bonnies only to find the bus — with all of their personal belongings on it — had disappeared.

According to a press release by the New York State Police, Linda Edmister, 56, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Police located the missing bus by tracking senior Mike Crawford’s iPhone. They found the bus and Edmister 35 miles from Olean in Randolph, N.Y. She had a .22 percent blood-alcohol content.
