Since the announcement of Prince Harry’s wedding, many have speculated about the guest list. In fact, several are wondering whether the Obamas will receive an invite, a question the soon-to-be groom dodged in a recent interview.

During a segment on BBC Radio 4, a reporter asked him if former U.S. President Barack Obama would receive a special note in the mail, but Prince Harry said he didn’t want to “ruin that surprise.”

“We haven’t put the invites or the guest list together yet so who knows whether he's going to be invited or not. I wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise,” he said.

Reports say the British government is concerned about how current President Donald Trump would react if the Obamas attend, amid a shaky relationship between the U.S. and the U.K.

“Harry has made it clear he wants the Obamas at the wedding, so it’s causing a lot of nervousness,” The Sun reported, citing an unamed senior government official. “Trump could react very badly if the Obamas get to a royal wedding before he has had a chance to meet the queen.”

Royal Weddings Through The Years

Although the royal family and U.K. politicians have become close acquaintances of the Obamas in recent years, rallying together for the Invictus Games and appearing together in public several times, their encounters with Trump have not been as friendly.

In November, British Prime Minister Theresa May was critical of Trump’s decision to retweet a string of inflammatory videos from a British political fringe group that purport to show violence being committed by Muslims. May’s office said it was “wrong” for the president to have done shared the videos.

The prince’s fiancee, actress and humaniatarian Meghan Markle, has also called out Trump in the past.

But Prince Harry and Markle don’t have the sole say on the invites. The British Parliament will aid the couple.

“Conversations are ongoing about and ministers will eventually have to decide,” The Sun reported. “If the PM lays down the law, Harry will just have to suck it up.”

The nuptials are set for May 19 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in London.

A new trailer for the latest iteration of the reality TV design show was announced Friday and included the April 7 premiere date for the program.

Us Weekly  reported that despite sexual assault allegations against Oosterhouse, TLC and “Trading Spaces” co-stars are sticking by the former model turned carpenter.

Former makeup artist Kailey Kaminsky said in a Dec. 14 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Oosterhouse repeatedly coerced her into in sexual acts with him while on the set of his HGTV show “Carter Can” in 2008.

“What I can tell you from my experience with Carter is that he is an absolute professional,” Davis said during the 2018 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour Jan. 12. “I’ve never had any experience with him where I haven’t just had the best time ever. He’s down to earth. He’s very good at what he does. And I enjoyed working these episodes with him. And I’m really excited for them to air.”

“Everything she just said, I reiterate,” Pennington said. “We know Carter as the Carter we know, and he’s a great guy.”

Yip also voiced support for Oosterhouse, saying, “From what I know of Carter, he is a decent human being. He is a solid person. He’s a loving husband. He’s a loving father. And I think we have to realize that it’s important to make sure that we listen to exactly what’s going on, and that we don’t throw somebody under the bus without first making sure that we understand the entire story and view it through the lens of the facts. That’s not me saying something is untrue or not true, but that’s just me saying that from what I know of Carter, he’s a good, good person.”

Nancy Daniels, president and general manager of TLC, said at the same event that the network is fine having the show continue with Oosterhouse.

“At the end of the day, we feel very comfortable continuing with Carter in the show,” she said, according to Variety.

“Trading Spaces” airs April 7 at 9 p.m. on TLC. Watch the trailer for the show’s return below.

Seal calls out Oprah for being ‘part of the problem’ with Harvey Weinstein

Fast Facts Seal

While many people praised Oprah Winfrey following her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes Sunday, singer Seal said that Winfrey was “part of the problem” in Hollywood with a scathing post on social media.

Fox News reported that the singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to slam Winfrey by sharing a pair of images of Winfrey and disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein together. The text over the image read, “When you have been part of the problem for decades, but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”

Seal added in the caption, “Oh I forgot, that’s right…..you’d heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young starry-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad.”

Seal’s criticism was met with praise, but others seemed to consider the singer a hypocrite, including model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen.

“Hmm. Let’s just say we’ve all heard things about each other, haven’t we?” she commented, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Another person took to Twitter and shared photos of Seal with Kevin Spacey, who has also faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, and Seal’s ex-wife and mother of his children, model Heidi Klum, posing with Weinstein.

Seal isn’t the only public figure who doesn’t think Winfrey would make a great president. Actress and comedian Roseanne Barr told reporters she thought she would make a better president than Winfrey during a press tour for the upcoming reboot of her sitcom, “Roseanne.”

“I do love Oprah. Of course, I love Oprah like everybody else. But you know what? I think it was time for us as a country to shake things up and, you know, try something different,” Barr said. “Actually, I think I’d be a better president than Oprah and Susan Sarandon, probably even President Trump. And I did run in 2012.”

In her speech, Winfrey called out perpetrators of sexual misconduct and harassment in Hollywood saying, “Their time is up!”

Singer Seal (L) has criticized Oprah for being "part of the problem" in Hollywood in an Instagram post that shows her with movie producer Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein faces accusations of rape and sexual misconduct.

Soon after the awards show, many fans and celebrities, including Meryl Streep, called for Winfrey to try for the Oval Office in 2020.

“She launched a rocket tonight. I want her to run for president. I don’t think she had any intention (of declaring), but now she doesn’t have a choice,” Streep told The Washington Post on Sunday night.

Winfrey’s best friend and morning TV anchor, Gayle King, said the speech was not meant to be political, and that she isn’t considering running, People reported.

“She did not want it to be a political speech,” King said. “She wanted it to be a uniting speech.”

Eagles Co-Founder Glenn Frey’s Widow Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit

The widow of late Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey is suing the New York City hospital that treated her husband before his death in 2016.

According to Reuters, Cindy Frey filed a lawsuit Tuesday accusing Mount Sinai Hospital and gastroenterologist Steven Itzkowitz of negligence while treating the musician, who had ulcerative colitis, in late 2015.

The wrongful death lawsuit alleges that "Frey was rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled" because Itzkowitz and the hospital did not properly diagnose, treat or disclose the risks of treatment to him, Reuters reported.

Frey died Jan. 18, 2016, after suffering "complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia," the band said in a statement at the time. He was 67.

Eagles manager Irving Azoff previously told The Wrap that rheumatoid arthritis medications were partly to blame for Frey's death.

“The colitis and pneumonia were side effects from all the meds,” Azoff said

Cindy Frey is seeking "unspecified damages," Reuters reported.

“I just want to explain the bandage. I just had a cancer taken from my lip,” she said. “I thought it was going to heal in time before I came (for the interview). It’s fine. I just wanted to explain it. I don’t normally go around like this.”

“The world is falling apart. What’s a lip?” Fonda joked when praised by the interviewer for still showing up to face the press.

Fonda and Tomlin went on to discuss their Netflix show, how they do and don’t resemble their characters, the importance of social activism and other topics during the lively interview, which can be watched in full on the Build Series website.

On Tuesday, Fonda quickly made mention of the procedure during a “Today” show appearance with Tomlin.

“I had a little cancer,” she said, waving her hand.

While posing for pictures during press rounds, Fonda covered her mouth, saying on Instagram, “I’ve found a clever way to disguise my lip bandages from removal of cancer.”
