            Bill Scheidel

I was told years ago that you don't get into radio. Radio gets into you. How true that's been. After finishing up my brief stint with the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, I decided to hang around the Dayton area. Louisville is home. I've always loved radio and after a couple of jobs at small stations I wound up at WHIO-AM in the news department. That's when the news department consisted of two people. Winston Hoehner and me. After a long hiatus in another career it's good to be back. I'm married to my best friend. We have three grown children and 4 grand kids. Now it's writing, writing and more writing for the Miami Valley Morning News.
