On the eighth anniversary of the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, some of his family members are remembering him in different ways.

ABC News reported that members of the Jackson family have made social media posts and tribute performances.

The late singer’s brothers -- Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon -- performed as The Jacksons at England’s Glastonbury Festival Friday. Dressed in military-style jackets similar to those worn by their brother, they performed “Can You Feel It,” the group’s 1981 single.

The brothers also sang The Jackson 5’s “I'll Be There” and Michael Jackson’s “Gone Too Soon,” dedicating both to Michael Jackson.

Jermaine Jackson wrote a message about his brother on Twitter before the performance, saying, “We'll be 4 brothers on stage joined by Michael in spirit. Through the music we made together, we find comfort in memories, esp (sic) this weekend.”

“We all love and miss you,” LaToya Jackson, Michael Jackson’s older sister, wrote on Twitter.

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, also shared thoughts on Twitter.

According to E! News, she also got a new tattoo on her foot that reads, “Applehead.” The website reported that the word was a term of endearment Michael Jackson was known to use for his loved ones.

The tattoo is now one of several she has to honor her father.

“With every step i take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. Love you,” she captioned the photo of her new tattoo on Instagram.

Bill Cosby accuser slams his upcoming sexual assault town halls

Published: Sunday, June 25, 2017 @ 5:57 PM

After Bill Cosby announced that he will be traveling the country to teach young men how to avoid being accused of sexual assault, one of his accusers appeared on CNN to give her reaction.

On Saturday morning, accuser Linda Kirkpatrick shared exactly what she thinks about the idea.

“Him having a town hall meeting on educating people about sexual assault is the same as Jeffrey Dahmer hosting a town hall meeting on the joy of cooking, neither of which I will be attending,” Kirkpatrick said, referring to the serial killer known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, who was killed while in prison.

Cosby’s sexual assault trial was declared a mistrial last week after the jury was unable to reach a decision on whether or not the actor had drugged and sexually assaulted Andrea Constand in the early 2000s. Following the ruling, his spokespeople announced that he will host a series of town halls to educate people, particularly athletes and married men, on how to avoid sexual assault charges.

According to one of his spokespeople, such classes are necessary because “anything at this point can be considered sexual assault, and it’s a good thing to be educated about the laws.”

Prosecutors in the Constand case, in which Cosby skirted three aggravated sexual assault charges, have already announced that they will retry him. He also faces similar allegations from at least 60 other women.
